SERVICES AND PRICING:

Domain Supermarket has two pricing plans. One for new domain name registrations and hosting products and one for pre-owned domain name related products. This price plan indicates all costs with new registrations first followed by pre-owned price plans.

1.0 New Domain Name Registrations:

1. Running a modern business requires reducing costs wherever possible. There are significant cost differences between New Zealand’s domain name registration service providers. If you manage a number of domain names switching to Domain Supermarket could save large sums of money.

2. Remember that you can use Domain Supermarket to register and renew your domain names and then use your regular ISP to host your website if you like what your provider does for you. We do not insist on using Domain Supermarket to host your site if you use us to manage your registration process. This allows you to benefit from our low prices without needing to change who hosts your website. However, Domain Supermarket does offer hosting services also which are competitively priced.

3. Domain Supermarket offers one price for all your domain names and applies these charges consistently for all years. We do not offer a cheap first year service only to recover the upfront discount over subsequent years. We pride ourselves on low cost transparent pricing. Our flat charges are:

5. Many registrars offer volumes based pricing and have hidden charges for other services and charge more for subsequent year’s registrations. This can make comparing costs difficult. We have prepared the following tables to allow you to compare costs easily. Domain Supermarket is the cheapest registration service provider in most cases. Domain Supermarket is competitive against all other New Zealand registration service providers. Some are slightly cheaper for the first year’s registration but this tends to reverse over a longer holding period. Table two below iterates this point.

Domain Supermarket is the cheapest registration service provider up to 250 domain names on an average over two years. 1.10 Domain Super Market also allow users to add services to their domain names e.g. add email services and hosting.

1.11 We charge $69.95 per annum for email services which gives you ten unique mailboxes complete with anti-Virus scanning and Anti-Spam filtering. These accounts can be administered using our standard web browser. You can also use either the POP3 or IMAP protocols to download your email to an email client such as Outlook Express, Eudora or similar e-mail programmes.

1.12 Hosting services: At just $119.95 per annum Domain Supermarket provides some of the most competitively priced web hosting on the market today. This package comes complete with 10mb of disk space, FTP access to enable you to upload files to your site, a contact form template, and statistics reporting to provide detailed information about visitors to your website.

2.0 Already Registered Domain Name Purchases:

2.1 Domain Supermarket offers users the chance to buy and sell pre-owned domain names as well as using our website to register new domain names. Our decision to offer pre-owned domains is simply because we feel that the majority of good domain names are already registered and as such users would want to be able to look at both new and pre-owned domain names when considering what is right for their company’s web presence.

2.2 Domain Supermarket does not charge for listing your domain name for sale. However, if you chose to market your name in the premium domain name category this will cost $10.00. There is no time limit to this upgraded service. Choosing to promote your domain name will increase the chances of selling as the domain name will be offered under Premium Domains category.

2.3 Our pricing plan for pre-owned domain names can be summarised as:
